As a sign of their total consecration to the Blessed Trinity the Friars make vows of poverty, chastity, and obedience.

By their vows, the Friars, like St. Francis, seek to live radically and wholeheartedly the Holy Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.

 

“The friars freely assume consecrated religious life in the Church in order to serve as a sign of the heavenly glory that is a participation in the life of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.” (CFR Constitutions, 4)
